1. Fluency: Let's Get It Poppin'
I really emphasize fluency in my classroom, and I try to find fun and enjoyable ways for the kids to practice. This lesson uses Pop Rocks candy and the kids LOVE it. It's a lot of fun for me and them. I think using repeated readings with a timer gets great results and fast!
